Using the Inter.net online backup service business and residential customers of Inter.net Germany (in Berlin familiar by the brand name "snafu“) can secure their data on a backup server maintained by Inter.net Germany and BIS. The process is secure and automatic and is triggered in regular intervals. In addition to the QBU software of BIS, customers only require a Internet connection, e.g. ISDN or DSL. The QBU solution requires less bandwidth than other online backup solutions and offers a user-friendly interface for the end-user.

In connection with the 3. Berlin-Brandenburg Enterprise- and IT-Security Conference (Ludwig Erhard Haus, Berlin, Feb. 18, 2004) Inter.net Germany will present its online backup service as part of an integrated Internet security solution for small- and medium-sized companies.
